MAKING A DIFFERENCE: OUR SOCIAL IMPACT JOURNEY
For over two decades, the Landmark Group has been on a remarkable mission to transform lives and leave a lasting positive mark on society. We believe in the power of collective action, and our influence has touched the lives of over 9 million individuals during this remarkable journey. But our impact extends far beyond numbers, thanks to our unwavering support for various causes and organisations such as the Red Crescent, UNHCR, Rotary Club, and Dubai Cares.
Beat Diabetes was launched by Landmark Group in 2009 to raise awareness about diabetes prevention and management. Since its inception, there have been 13 Beat Diabetes Walks. The initiative employs events, media campaigns, workshops, and outreach programs to educate people on preventing and managing diabetes.
This initiative has achieved remarkable results with over 550 thousand blood tests, 24,000 volunteering hours, and 100+ dedicated partners. In 2022, we donated AED 5 million to the Al Jalila Foundation under the Aa'wen program. In 2021, Landmark Group proudly became the first corporation in the region to join the WHO's Global Diabetes Compact Forum.
EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES THROUGH CSR INNITIAVTIES
Our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) has profoundly impacted the communities across the GCC and India. In the past decade alone, we've reached approximately 2 million people through our CSR initiatives in the GCC. In India, our initiatives with Landmark India and Life Foundation have positively impacted about 7 million lives over the past two decades.

education & youth
Our Education and Employability programs have been instrumental in improving access to quality education, nutrition, and work readiness skills for approximately 50,000 children and youth in the past five years. Our ongoing partnership with Dubai Cares, entering its 14th year, has enabled us and our customers to contribute AED 12 million to support children's and youth's education through annual fundraising initiatives.
wellness & health
We are deeply committed to enhancing preventive and primary healthcare access. We've actively supported initiatives like the '1 Billion Meals' and launched the 'Beat Diabetes' campaign in 2009 as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility. In 2022, we donated AED 5 million to the Al Jalila Foundation under the Aa'wen program. In 2021, Landmark Group proudly became the first corporation in the region to join the WHO's Global Diabetes Compact Forum.
Disaster relief is a core part of our social impact efforts. In 2023, we joined the 'Bridges of Giving' campaign by Emirates Red Crescent, providing over AED 5 million worth of essential goods to support earthquake victims in Turkey. We've also consistently supported UNHCR in their disaster relief programs, extending our help through customer fundraising initiatives held at our stores.
