Splash celebrates 18 years of high-street fashion
Dubai: Glitzy hugely popular fashion shows, out-of the box campaigns, a limited edition calendar, trendy collection at great value, the brand has achieved this and much more in its journey over 18 years. As Splash, the region's favorite high-street brand turns Legally 18 this month; the celebrations are marked by a series of in-store promotions, radio contests and exclusive Facebook contests.
The regions' largest high-street fashion brand has over the years defined and re-defined the concept of Fashionism in its journey from a single store in Sharjah to a network of over 120 stores spread across 10 countries. Splash's journey is replete with creating new ideas and breakthrough concepts which have set milestones in the fashion retail industry in the region. Path-breaking campaign's like 'Eye on Design' launched in 2008 captured the true essence of the brand's ideology which runs through the various seasonal campaigns and collections. Splash also has many firsts to its credit in the region like a full-fledged 3D print Campaign, a campaign shot on the streets, seasonal larger than life consumer fashion shows, amongst others. Recently Splash added yet another feather to its cap in the form of a Splash Limited Edition calendar which was shot by famed photographer Tejal Patni and hand-delivered to a select set of 400 crème-de-la-crème of the region.
Adding to the buzz around turning Legally 18 Splash is hosting whacky radio competitions with prizes that include thrilling experiences on turning 18 like a trip to the Ferrari Theme Park, Dinner at a height of 100 feet and many more. Also exclusive to the Facebook community are contests where all that needs to be done is to post your most memorable birthday picture on the Splash Fashions Facebook wall, and the best pictures could win gift vouchers from Splash.
Splash is also synonymous with awards and recognition and has achieved the Superbrand status in 2011for second time in a row starting 2010. The brand has been listed in Forbes Arabia's "Top 40 Arab Brands" list, and has been awarded by Dubai Customs for being the highest importer of readymade garments in the UAE apart from receiving significant marketing awards over the years.
