Landmark Group enters sports retail with SportsOne

- LANDMARK Group, the region's leading retail and hospitality conglomerate, ventures into sports retail with the launch of SportsOne, a full spectrum sports concept catering to a myriad of consumer groups.
The brand started its retail journey on the December 26, 2012, with the inauguration of two SportsOne multi-brand, multi-category and large format retail stores of 15,000 sq. ft. retail space each at Al Qasr Mall and King Abdullah Street in Riyadh.
Speaking at the launch Neelesh Bhatnagar, CEO, Landmark Group KSA, said "the Landmark Group constantly researches to identify potential categories to create a new offering for our consumers. We realized that there was a strong need for a sporting goods concept, offering comprehensive product assortment at value driven prices and this gave birth to our newest concept SportsOne. Sports ONE is the first brand in the region, which focuses on creating a consumer friendly store environment. The brand ensures this by displaying all in store buying tips and product specifications in both Arabic and English.
Some of the other exceptional customer - centric value service offerings, at SportsOne includes GAIT analysis for recommending correct footwear, racquet stringing and weight balancing, printing and embroidery services and in-store bike repair apart from delivery and installation of home gym equipment.
