Steve Madden, America's most popular shoe designer, launches under Landmark Group Ownership in GCC
Landmark Group is celebrating the newly acquired ownership of the internationally acclaimed Steve Madden Retail franchise. Steve Madden has become the ninth brand to come under Shoe Mart International, the footwear division of Landmark Group. The company has ambitious plans for the brand. Positioned as a bridge between hi-street and luxury, the brand will target women between 16-40 years and will offer a cutting-edge range of fashion forward, of-the-moment designs across footwear and a variety of accessories. Confident in making the brand a success, the Group has already opened Steve Madden stores at The Dubai Mall and in Mall of the Emirates. By the end of the month a further four Steve Madden stores will have opened, including stores in Al Wahda Mall and Centrepoint Marina in Abu Dhabi, Al Jimi Mall in Al Ain and Asmakh Mall in Qatar.

The lavish launch party held at the Westin Hotel Mina Seyahi, featured an exciting fashion show providing guests with an opportunity to view the Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The Steve Madden U.S team flew down to Dubai to be part of the Launch celebrations.

In his New York-based factory, Madden channeled his creative energy to produce a variety of silhouettes and vibrant styles that rapidly exhibited a cult following worldwide. In the last twenty years, the company has made significant and groundbreaking strides in expanded collections, categories, licensing agreements and acquisitions.
